What we keep

Your email address or wallet address, the name you choose, your settings, and what you make in the app: builds, lineups, notes and the questions you ask the assistant. For a membership we keep the plan, its dates and Stripe’s references to your payment. We keep a short record of sign-ins and of each purchase, so we can help if something goes wrong.

We never see or keep your card number. Stripe handles payment and keeps it.

When you start a checkout or join the opening list, we keep a scrambled form of your internet address, only to limit repeat attempts.

What we use it for

To run your account and membership, build what you ask for, answer your questions, take payment, send the emails your account needs, and help when something goes wrong.

We also use members’ results, combined and with nothing that identifies anyone, to check and improve our projections and tools.

Who handles it for us

Supabase stores the database and handles sign-in. Vercel runs the site. Stripe takes payment. Resend sends our emails. Anthropic answers the questions you ask the assistant. Inngest runs background jobs such as lineup builds. Each handles only what its job needs, and we send it to them over encrypted connections.

You enter your card on Stripe’s own checkout page. We share your information with anyone else only if the law requires it.

We don’t sell your information, we don’t share it for advertising, and we don’t put tracking pixels in our emails.

How we protect it

The site runs only over encrypted connections. Sign-in uses a one-time code or your wallet, so we keep no passwords. Rules in the database limit your builds, lineups, settings and questions to your own account, and access to member records is limited to the people who run Contrarian.

No system is perfectly secure. If you see something wrong, write to hello@risenworks.app.

Cookies

Your choices

You can change your name and email in Settings. To get a copy of what we keep, or to have your account deleted, write to hello@risenworks.app. We keep purchase records as long as the law requires for taxes and accounting, even after an account is deleted.

Contrarian is for people 18 and older, and we don’t knowingly keep anything about anyone younger.
