Who we are

Contrarian is run by Risen Works LLC. When these terms say “we”, they mean Risen Works LLC. When they say “you”, they mean the person whose email or wallet signs in.

What a membership is

A membership is access to Contrarian’s tools and information for the time you paid for: projections, the optimizer, simulations, signals, the assistant and the rest of the app, with the limits your plan states on the membership page. It is a subscription to a service and nothing else. It is not an investment, it earns nothing, and it is not a stake in Contrarian or Risen Works LLC.

Contrarian is information. It does not place DraftKings, FanDuel or sportsbook entries or bets for you, it never connects to those accounts, and it never holds your money. What you do with the information is your decision. Nothing on Contrarian is a promise that any lineup, pick or bet will win.

Age and where you play

You must be 18 or older to buy a membership. Daily fantasy contests and sports betting have their own ages and rules where you live; following them is up to you.

Paying, renewing and canceling

Payments are handled by Stripe. Monthly and season plans renew automatically at the price you signed up at until you cancel. A week pass runs seven days and does not renew. Prices are in US dollars, plus any sales tax where it applies.

You can cancel any time in Settings. A canceled plan keeps working to the end of the time you paid for. We don’t give refunds, for a partial month, a partial season, or time you didn’t use.

The launch rate stays yours for as long as that membership stays active. If it ends and you join again later, the price then applies.

Lifetime

Lifetime is one payment for Pro’s limits and every tool, and every sport as it opens, for as long as Contrarian runs. “Lifetime” means the life of the Contrarian service, not of any person. It belongs to the account that bought it and can’t be transferred, sold or shared. If Contrarian ever shuts down, Lifetime ends with it.

Using your account

Your membership is for you. Don’t share your sign-in, resell or republish Contrarian’s numbers, or scrape the site. We can suspend an account that does, or that tries to get around a limit, and an account suspended for that is not refunded.

Changes, and the service itself

We improve Contrarian all the time, so tools change. If we change these terms in a way that matters, we’ll say so by email before it applies to you. The service is provided as it is; we work hard on the numbers, and they can still be wrong. Our responsibility to you is never more than what you paid us in the last twelve months.

These terms are governed by the laws of Florida.
